Meet Heather
Heather Gutentag is a licensed clinical social worker in the Counselors in Academic Residence (CARE) program. She provides confidential mental health support for students living in University Housing and partners with Housing staff to support student well-being.
Heather uses approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) and Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP) to help students navigate challenges and work toward their mental health and well-being goals.
