Mindful Eating Program
Constantly thinking about food, calories, or your weight?
Tired of worrying about the weight, shape, or size of your body?
Feeling trapped by your diet and exercise habits?
Not sure how to stop obsessing about food?
Want to be healthy but feel anxious about change?
Let us help.
University Health Services (UHS) and the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) offer assessment and support for a wide scope of eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, emotional eating, and binge eating. Services provided by a team of professionals include medical assessment, nutrition assessment, and psychological counseling.
Who are the members of the Mindful Eating team?
A physician and a registered dietitian from UHS, and a counselor from CMHC serve on the team. All of them have special interest in and experience with disordered eating.
