Texas DWI Education Class
The Texas DWI Education Program provided by UHS represents the course approved by Texas Department of State Health Services and satisfies Article 42.12, Section l3(h),Code of Criminal Procedure which requires persons convicted of first offense DWI and receiving probation, to attend and successfully complete an educational program certified by the department.
The standardized program is 12 hours in length presented in three sessions of four hours each. The fee for the program is $80.00 and may be paid by check or billed to your UT Direct account.
Come by our office (SSB 1.106) to sign up for a DWI education class. Class size is limited, and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
