AlcoholEdu
Program Instructions

The program has two sections. Students must complete both sections to receive full credit. The University expects all incoming first-year/freshman and transfer students under the age of 21 to complete AlcoholEdu for College.

  • Part 1 is due Thursday, August 20, 2009.
  • Part 2 is due Thursday, October 22, 2009.

To Start AlcoholEdu for College:

By clicking the button below, you will be taken to the AlcoholEdu Secure Portal to log in to a separate site using your UTEID and password. After logging in, you will be given instructions on taking the program.


Note: You may log in and out of the course at the end of each section. Section ends are marked with a "Next" button. DO NOT log out until you click the "Next" button or you will have to repeat the section you have just gone through.

Next Steps After Completing Part 1

After you have started classes, you will receive an email reminder approximately 45 days from the day you completed Part 1. The email will remind you to return and complete Part 2.

Please note that AlcoholEdu includes surveys that contain questions about your alcohol-related attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are strictly confidential. UT will only receive data about the student body as a whole and will never see your individual answers. You can be confident that providing truthful answers - no matter what they are - will never be connected to your identity in any way.

For any issues related to the program, the AlcoholEdu Online Technical Support Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Simply click on the "Help" button located in the upper right-hand corner of every AlcoholEdu for College screen. Also call 1-866-384-9062.
